Still waiting....
With becoming more active on Facebook, I often forget to update my blog. Anyways, here's my most recent pic posted on FB. Our new babe is hanging in there, perhaps waiting to share his or her big brother Jacob's birthday on the 18th.
40 weeks, baby # 5
Had some excitement Saturday night, with a few hours of regular contractions, but they petered out and haven't had so much as a twinge since....
I'm a SAHM (stay at home Mom) on a small farm in Alberta, Canada, where we practice many self sufficiency skills and raise many types of livestock. Among the livestock we raise are: Registered Canadian Horses, milk cows, goats, pigs and chickens (for meat and eggs). I love to bake bread, make cheese, and can fruit and vegetables, as well as enjoying knitting, sewing and cross stitching (when I have time!) as we have five small children, 4 boys and 1 girl.
I enjoy working with, and riding our horses, as well as all the other livestock we raise. There's always something going on on our farm!!
This blog is an eclectic mix of subjects. I thought about trying to separate everything out into individual blogs-knitting, homeschooling, farming-but I don't feel that would be a true reflection, and besides-who has time to maintain several blogs!?! Someone more organized than me, for certain! So you will find topics on homeschooling, farming, knitting, cooking, and more, all blended together in one blog! Hope you enjoy!
